The Festival Market will be held on Sunday the 2nd of May 2021 from 9:30 -2pm, with local food producers, artists and artisans, scrumptious food, new exciting activities for the children and of course Blueberry products in Rex Norman Reserve right in the centre of Gellibrand. Music will continue with local performers entertaining you while you browse. Our region supports some amazing food and produce, so come along for a taste sensation.

We are excited about the Blues and Blueberry Festival in 2016. It is a whole weekend festival with separate days for the Blues Music and Market events.
In 2015, the blueberries were ready for picking on the festival weekend. In 2016 we are preparing for an even bigger season, there will be a chance to by many blueberry products such as cakes, muffins, jams, ice creams and plants at the market on Sunday the 28th of February.
The market attracted over 40 stall holders from the region and many artists and artisans will present glassware, pottery, jewelry, paintings, sculptures and woodwork for sale and all types of foods will be on display, ranging from fresh fruit and veggies to preserves, spices and olive oil. Hot food will also be available and a village atmosphere will give you the space to sit on grassed areas and eat and taste wines and beers as well.
The market is an important community event for Gellibrand. Many community clubs and organisations will present their interests and community work. There will ba face painting for the children and buskers and entertainment for the whole family. We are planning a few surprises for 2016!
We also have an indigenous band to open the festival that recognises past peoples of our Gellibrand area. We will continue to have the open village green for people to relax and enjoy the spirit of the blueberry season. Come and join us between 10 am and 3pm!
