The Gellibrand River Blues and Blueberry Festival is an annual two day event held on the last Saturday and Sunday of February . It is promoted by the Gellibrand River community, traders, artists and artisans.

A Blues Music Festival is held at Otways Tourist Park, Gellibrand River which is 25 kms south of Colac on the Saturday, featuring some of Australia’s top Blues Bands.

On the Sunday, the Markets are held in Rex Norman Reserve, where there is Otways produce, including blueberries and blueberry products, plants and conserves and a chance to learn about the blueberry industry. There is also local Arts and Craft on display and for sale, as well as food and local entertainment.

The 2019 The Festival Market will be held on Sunday the 24th February from 9:30 -2pm, with local food producers, artists and artisans, scrumptious food, new exciting activities for the children and of course Blueberry products in Rex Norman Reserve right in the centre of Gellibrand. Music will continue with local performers entertaining you while you browse. Our region supports some amazing food and produce, so come along for a taste sensation.

Relax and feast in the village green, the Rex Norman Park, and feel the welcome and hospitality that a small community like Gellibrand River can provide. It’s a weekend to remember!

The 2019 Gellibrand River Blues & Blueberry Festival will be held on the weekend of the 22nd - 24th of February, where you can relax and listen to some of the best Australian Blues Bands, whilst enjoying local beer, wines and food as well as great country hospitality at Otways Tourist Park on the Saturday from 1200 noon to 8.00pm This eighth annual festival will host Dan Dinnen & Shorty; Hatsapella & Co; Sammy Owen Blues Band and the Wayne Jury Band to entertain you. (This is a ticketed event, entry is $30 for adults and $20 for under eighteens and concession holders)

Music, meals and drinks can also be enjoyed at other venues in the Gellibrand area throughout the weekend, such as the local Footy Club on the Saturday night from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm. On Sunday the 24th, Flynn Gurry will be performing at Otway Estate Winery and Brewery from 1pm-4pm. Join us for a relaxing afternoon amongst the vines! The Brewery Outlet will be open from 11 am.
